4 Purpose Energy®

4 Purpose Energy®, a Healthier Alternative to Big Name Brands

Nobody is promoting energy drinks as an alternative to milk or orange juice. But Sam Ronkin and his team, who launched 4 Purpose Energy in 2016 in Canton, Mass., says his beverage is a healthy alternative to his big-name competitors.

“Energy drinks can have beneficial effects for athletes and adults who need a quick boost,” he says. “And ours are carefully crafted with consumers’ health in mind.” The drink is now carried by over 400 retailers in six states in the Northeast.

Ronkin’s bold entry into the $65 billion global energy drink market a year ago has been compared to the Biblical battle of David vs. Goliath. Upon graduating from college, Ronkin and his team spent over two years on extensive market research plus trial and error with food chemists: “We perfected a healthier organic energy drink using high-quality ingredients with no artificial colors. It’s truly a guilt-free energy boost with no jitters, no crash.” (visit https://www.4purposeenergy.com/). Among 4 Purpose Energy’s advantages over competitors are:

Taurine –An amino acid that most energy drink makers add to boost caffeine’s effects. 4 Purpose does not contain Taurine.
Sugar – Most drinks contain lots of sugar in the form of high fructose corn syrup and artificial sweeteners which can lead to weight gain and other health issues. 4 Purpose uses less sugar per 8.4 oz. can compared to other brands, and only uses Fair Trade organic cane sugar. 4 Purpose is Fair Trade Certified, socially responsible, “Doing our part to support farmers and their communities,” Ronkin says.
Caffeine – He says, “Surprisingly, manufacturers are not required to disclose caffeine content, but we list on each 8.4 oz. can our 70 mg of organic caffeine, equivalent to a single espresso shot.” A 2017 Stanford University School of Medicine study found that caffeine may beat back an inflammatory process linked to cardiovascular disease and aging.

Artificial colors — 4 Purpose does not contain artificial colors — only natural colors from fruits and vegetables.
B-Complex vitamins — Convert food into fuel and may help with a variety of conditions, including anxiety, depression, heart disease, and PMS. Some people take this to increase energy, enhance mood, improve memory, boost skin and hair health, and stimulate the immune system.

4 Purpose Energy’s raspberry pomegranate flavor is enhanced with a splash of organic lemon juice, and comes lightly carbonated. It is certified vegan and kosher. Shipping is free to retailers anywhere is the U. S.

Another way 4 Purpose Energy is helping the planet: The company donates 10¢ from every can sold to Pencils of Promise to make education accessible to children around the world. Ronkin says, “Our first campaign goal is to raise $35,000 for this for-purpose organization that builds schools, trains teachers, and funds scholarships.”

St. Jude’s Ranch for Children – Wine Women & Shoes Fundraiser

Sunday, April 15 at 1:00 PM
Green Valley Ranch Resort & Spa

On April 15, 2018, St. Jude’s Ranch for Children will hold its 2nd Annual Wine Women & Shoes fundraiser to support programs for abused and neglected children and youth in foster care and homeless in Southern Nevada. The event will honor Station Casinos Vice President of Corporate Communications Lori Nelson and will feature a fashion show by Hollywood Couture Designer David Tupaz.

A blend of fashion and compassion, Wine Women & Shoes events are held nation-wide and are all about putting the “fun” in fundraiser. They give women the opportunity to get glamorous with their girlfriends while enjoying incredible varietals from top winemakers – all for a good cause. St. Jude’s Ranch for Children is the only charity with the rights to produce the special event in the state.

Host and Celebrity Auctioneer Chet Buchanan will emcee Wine Women & Shoes, which will be held in the Grand Ballroom at Green Valley Ranch Resort & Spa, Henderson, Nev. on Sunday, April 15th from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. In addition to the fashion show, it will include a wine tasting, food, designer shopping, silent and live auctions, and a “Best in Shoe” contest.

The fashion show will be graced with designs by Filipino Designer David Tupaz, who is often considered couture’s new genius. His Hollywood red carpet gowns are often inspired from a distinct rebirth of old Hollywood. Celebrities love David’s simple sophistication that helps each person’s individual taste and personal style stand out. Among his clients are Kris Kardashian Jenner, Julia Roberts, Goldie Hawn, Kate Hudson, William Shatner, Alan Thicke, Jane Seymour, Lisa Rinna, Etta James, Bo Derek, and Annette Bening. Event guests will get a taste not only of David’s luxurious gowns, but also his own custom-designed jewelry, beaded accessories, shoes and intricately handcrafted veils.

“I’m looking forward to the event and honored that St. Jude’s Ranch for Children has selected me as its honoree for Wine Women & Shoes,” said Nelson. “I’ve enjoyed supporting its programs and I’m especially passionate about helping siblings separated in foster care to spend quality time together. The charity has a special place in my heart and I hope others will join me, in a limited or large way, to make a difference too.”

For more than a decade, Lori Nelson has been committed to helping children in Nexus Fostering care. Originally drawn to the cause by Dr. Stephanie Holland, the founder of Child Focus, St. Jude’s Ranch for Children’s Sibling Preservation Program. Lori knew she had to help brothers and sisters separated in foster care to have the opportunity to see each other to build on and maintain their relationships.

“We are looking forward to the event and honored that Lori has accepted our invitation for her to be our honoree,” said St. Jude’s Ranch for Children Executive Director Christina Vela. “We hope the community comes out to support all the work she has done in the Valley not just for our organization, but for so many over the years.”

General admission tickets are $95, VIP Experience tickets include VIP seating, swag bag, and culinary tastes for $150, and VIP Tables for twelve are available for $2,000 by visiting www.stjudesranch.org/events, or by calling 702-294-7169.

United States Navy Band Sea Chanters

Tuesday, March 13 at 7:00 PM
First Good Shepherd Lutheran Church

The U.S. Navy Band Sea Chanters is the official chorus of America’s Navy. The ensemble performs a variety of music ranging from traditional choral music, including sea chanteys and patriotic fare, to opera, Broadway, and contemporary music. The Sea Chanters chorus is frequently found at the center of high-profile national events. At home in Washington, D.C., the group performs for the president, vice president, and numerous congressional, military and foreign dignitaries.

One of the U.S. Navy Band’s primary responsibilities involves touring the country. All of the band’s primary performing units embark each year on concert tours throughout specified regions of the country, allowing the band to reach out to audiences in areas of the country that do not have opportunities to see the Navy’s premier musical ensembles on a regular basis. The concerts are family-friendly events, meant to be entertaining to veterans, families, individuals and those interested in joining the Navy.

All Navy Band performances are free and open to the public.

Hot Logic MINI conduction oven

What is HotLogic?
HotLogic is a fully automated, patented “SmartShelf” software-controlled portable conduction oven that cooks frozen meals, leftovers and raw foods, holding food warm and ready-to-eat for up to 12 hours. With no buttons, dials or controls necessary, it’s cleaner and more energy-efficient than a microwave or conventional oven. HotLogic accepts food in all forms of closed containers, paper, aluminum, metal, plastic or glass, and emits no cooking odors.

Why HotLogic?
HotLogic generally takes less than 1 hour to heat refrigerated food and 2 hours for frozen food – you can even leave food in as long as 12 Hours. The Hot Logic never gets hot enough to burn food and because the food is sealed, meals will stay moist and ready to eat for up to 12 hours.

How does HotLogic work?
Made in the U.S.A, the HotLogic uses low-slow conduction heat to bring foods to the ideal temperature and can hold it there for hours without overcooking or drying the food out! You can use any flat-bottom container made of glass, plastic, Tupperware, or metal as long as it had a sealed lid.
