Tolani Wine Restaurant

Tolani Wine Restaurant

In South African slang, Tolani means too good, and that is exactly what this UWS gem is: an unpretentious spot you simply can't get enough of. Drawing from the very best flavors, techniques and ingredients from each corner of the world, Tolani Wine Restaurant's menu brings a culinary adventure to your backyard, marrying authenticity with ingenuity.

Tolan

Filled with small to medium sized plates meant to be shared, the menu is best experienced as a journey around the world. Start in Greece with a grilled octopus salad, hop over to the West Indies with goat curry and mango, shoot over to the Maghreb for a duck pastilla and shoot pea salad, enjoy a T-bone cooked Brazilian-style or perhaps a Thai Green Papaya and cucumber salad with crisp rice peanut sauce.

Tolani
Tolani

The space at Tolani was imagined and created in two distinct divides – the upstairs is a semi-casual bar meets lounge, while the downstairs lends itself to the fine-dining experience. Both on and off-site catering is available. Tolani’s eclectic ambience and reputation are credited to its unique and authentic dining experience.

With its versatile and globally inspired menu selections Tolani illuminates and draws distinct flavors the world over. By pairing any of their dishes with their extensive wine varietals, we are confident your dining experience will as the name Tolani implies be “Too Good.”

Il Tesoro

Il Tesoro

The GM of Il Tesoro has lived above the restaurant for over 20 years!
Talk about a tough commute! He's a low-key Italian,
loves the neighborhood,
and is indeed very hospitable to his guests.

Authentic Italian with “New Classic” flair, IL Tesoro serves up a festival for the senses that is a cut above the expected. Polished, professional, excellent service with the taste and feel of a Tuscan holiday. The menu sings of the delights of Italy -with the freshness of all the local fair.
