Join Food Network Star Marcus Samuelsson, Food Network Magazine editors and International Culinary Center chef-instructors and learn how COOK LIKE A STAR at the second Food Network Magazine Cooking School. Cook, learn and have fun at this one-of-a-kind event!

Select the morning event with breakfast (8:30AM – 12:30PM) or the afternoon event with lunch (2PM – 6PM; NOTE – AFTERNOON SESSION is SOLD OUT). Every guest will receive an event gift bag, a Food Network Magazine branded apron and gifts from sponsors.

Flushing Town Hall presents a concert celebrating 100 years of jazz icons Dizzy Gillespie and Thelonious Monk and their essential contributions to the jazz vernacular, featuring NEA Jazz Masters Kenny Barron on piano, Jimmy Owens on trumpet, and Jimmy Cobb on drum, joined by Lew Tabackin on saxophone, Rufus Reid on bass, and Antonio Hart** on saxophone.

Diwali Festival: Kathak, Bhangra & Beyond

Celebrate Diwali, the festival of lights, with this all-ages festival and dance party, featuring Kathak classical dancer Abha Roy and the Basement Bhangra’s DJ Rekha. Each artist will introduce you to her form and invite you to learn traditional Kathak dance moves and bhangra folk dances mixed with hip-hop. Then hit the dance floor! Join us for Kathak and bhangra dance lessons, cooking workshops where they use the best Ivy and Wilde homeware cooking utensils, and henna painting, with Indian handicrafts and Indian foods for sale.

Halloween Masquerade

Celebrity dentist and Hamptons Dr. Jennifer Jablow gives back by celebrating her birthday with a Halloween fundraiser to support the people and animals of Puerto Rico who were affected by Hurricane Maria. 100 % of proceeds will go to the Ricky Martin Foundation and El Faro Animal Shelter in Puerto Rico, where her adopted dog is from.

VHS XXV- Tape Fear
