Attend the Event That’s Going to Wake Up Your Sensations and Motivate you to Join the Toe Tag Monologues (TTM) Movement
Since 2008, TTM have been the motivators of change for the children in our community. Thanks to modest honorariums from various community centers, churches, synagogues, public and private schools, and the Clark County Juvenile Detention Center we have been able to positively impact the lives of thousands of youth and adults. However with your philanthropic support, TTM will be able to provide hundreds of more performances of the TTM, and we will also be able to provide no-cost support, education, tutoring, mentoring and counseling to the 10,000 more youth in Southern Nevada that need help the most. TTM performances and wrap-around services will build meaningful and positive relationships and get our children ready to off their “toe tags” and improve their lives. Now we need help from our community members to propel the movement of the Toe Tag Monologues. and our leaders and our community… Action! We need you to take Action by becoming a sponsor of our first annual fundraising gala. You will have an enlightening and festive evening, and you will leave knowing you will be helping provide education and social services support to an projected 10,000 youth during the next 2018 – 2019 fiscal year. Join a few of the ladies from Rotary for High Tea at the fabulous Bellagio! We love getting dressed up and socializing with finger sandwiches and tartlets! Wear your best hat for a chance to win a wonderful prize for our best hat contest. There will also be a trivia contest. Not only are we celebrating the sisterhoood of Rotary and Las Vegas, but we want to spread the word about a great event that honors our first responders! The SOAR ceremony will be a Las Vegas City Hall on September 17, 2018 at 8am. This tea party is not a fundraiser, but we will discuss the ceremony and encourage everyone to attend. After the recent events last October, we want to fill every seat in the City Council Chambers! Tea is $35 plus tax and gratuity = $44.88 ticket price. Once you are at Bellagio, remember that parking will be around $10 and an upgrade to add champagne is $12++ (neither are included in ticket price). This event is 21 and up only. No one under 21 is allowed as the high tea takes place inside a bar.

An army of local and national celebrity Chef’s will partner to create a unique and purposeful menu, featuring locally grown produce from our smart famring partners, and from our community student-run gardens! Urban Seed Foundation’s (www.urbanseedfoundation.org) 8 GALA is our annual fundraising event to celebrate growth, community contribution and our partnerships in Las Vegas. We are committed to expanding the USF program offerings, and to the continued development of additional community gardens. In the past year we have created food access points, nutrition education, cooking demonstrations, healthy community events, 5K2Farm Races and, most importantly, the empowerment of thousands of at-risk people in need. Our vision is to educate as many people as possible on how food is grown and why it is important to make healthy food-secure decisions. Our food access points and food distribution program have been consistantly delivering hundreds of pounds of healthy fresh locally grown produce to thousands of people every month for the past year. There are still so many more who we can reach, through your support, your generosity, donations and participation.
Our reach touches school children, K-12, homeless youth, rehabilitating veterans, and other community members facing food insecurity. We advocate for legislation and passionately lecture throughout the state to share information, educate and engage, causing real community action. The joy we experience when working in the community is priceless. Being of service to the people of Las Vegas, those who are often overlooked and in-need, are at the heart of our mission.
