CRAFT SOCIAL CLUB has completed its renovation at 100 Collins Ave and is set to bring new energy to the South of Fifth community. CSC is a first-in-kind concept that blends craft cocktails with bottle service.

Devised by owner/operators RT Murphy and LP Steele, CRAFT SOCIAL CLUB is their vision for the future of nightlife.  Murphy, former General Manager of EMM Group (SL and Catch), and Steele, a former Marketing Director who represented spirits giants BACARDI USA and DIAGEO, have joined forces to elevate the way cocktails are served in bottle service driven nightlife venues.

The idea is simple; serve fresh, innovative cocktails tableside with bottle purchase. The way this duo is bringing it to life is groundbreaking.

Replacing traditional VIP tables, guests have the option to reserve Cocktail Suites, which have built-in bars, allowing for tableside cocktail experiences unlike any bottle service seen before. “We’ve built bars into the footprint of each table, allowing us to provide guests quality cocktails they would expect at a speakeasy, but with the high energy atmosphere they’d expect at nightclubs,” says Steele.

Don’t want bottle service? CSC’s main bar will bring the spirit of the home kitchen to life.  Highlighted by an open-aired cocktail kitchen and batching station, a theatrical assembly line of hand-crafted cocktails can be seen producing innovative recipes with speed and consistency.

Food & Beverage Director Evan Hawkins, former Bar Manager of MARQUEE NYC, has developed CSCs cocktail program. “Evans balanced background of both craft and nightlife experience is a great fit for us. He has a culinary approach to his cocktails but understands the demand for speed and consistency in a high volume environment,” Says Murphy.

Carnem

Steaks_27-1920

“A MODERN AMERICAN RESTAURANT AND COCKTAIL BAR SERVING THE FINEST U.S.D.A. PRIME CERTIFIED ANGUS BEEF IN A NEIGHBORHOOD SETTING.”

In Latin, ‘Carnem’ means meat, something that David DiSalvo knows a lot about. Chef DiSalvo is a French Culinary Institute graduate who earned his cooking chops while working for Kurt Gutebrunner and Aldo Sohm at Blaue Gans in TriBeCa; and pastry under Pierre Reboul made for the Michelin-starred Wallse in the West Village. DiSalvo solidified his steak skills as Chef de Cuisine of West Steak and Seafood in San Diego where he earned a #1 overall Zagat rating for Seafood and Steak.

Chef DiSalvo’s menu at Carnem consists of U.S.D.A. Prime Certified Angus Beef sourced from Master Purveyors in the Bronx, who hand-pick and dry-age the meat for 21 days. Among the signature cuts are a 7 oz. and 16 oz. New York Strip; a 32 oz. Bone-in Cowboy Ribeye—a hearty feast for 2 or 3 people; and a U.S.D.A. Prime Black Angus Petite Tender Medallion Steak.

“The philosophy behind the menu at Carnem Prime Steakhouse is to deliver chophouse cuts that are simply prepared and minimally-manipulated to show off the high quality product that we work closely with our purveyors to source. While we stick to the traditional cooking methods for the steak, we get playful and expressive with the appetizers and entrees, giving the menu our own creative stamp.”
