A Message from the Event Producer

Taste of Atlanta grew out of a love for our city’s great restaurants. Being food lovers ourselves, we wanted to try them all. So in 2001, we decided to bring them together for a weekend of tasting.

The concept was simple; allow food lovers the chance to explore the incredible variety of flavors and restaurants served up in one great outdoor festival. Large and small, trendy and off-the-beaten path- if it’s good food, you’ll find it at Taste of Atlanta. Our taste-size portions let you sample many different restaurants and find new venues for eating out. Above all, we want everyone to have a great time. In addition to all of the fabulous food, come enjoy a full schedule of cooking demonstrations, live entertainment, and a Wine Experience at Ten Pin Alley.

Food is one of life’s great pleasures – bring your family and friends and come “taste” the best our city has to offer!

Bon Appetite!

LA Femme Film Festival

Oct. 16-19 at the Fine Arts Theater

Wandering Films and Minx Films are delighted to announce that their short film, La Milonga, has been chosen as an official selection of the LA Femme Film Festival. The festival will take place October 16-19 at the Fine Arts Theater located at 8556 Wilshire Blvd in Beverly Hills. Tickets can be purchased at www.lafemme.org.

Film still from La Milonga – Christian Monzon and Angie Ruiz

The film is set in 1920's Buenos Aires and was inspired by the era of Carlos Gardel and the rise of Tango. La Milonga tells the story of a young virtuous woman who wanders into a Milonga dance hall, and meets the number one Milonguero. When he asks her to dance she must decide if she is ready to enter his world, one where he is experienced on the dance floor as well as with the ladies. In this stylized and romantic tango film, the two dancers discover a part of themselves previously unknown.
