5th Annual Winter Concert
Bellevue/NYU Program for Survivors of Torture (PSOT)

The Bellevue/NYU Program for Survivors of Torture (PSOT) is hosting its fifth annual Winter Concert at Printer’s Alley on February 23rd. Featuring music by Casa Mantequilla as well as PSOT clients and other special guests, it will be an evening highlighting the work of the Program, including the 20th anniversary of its Francophone African supportive therapy group. The Winter Concert is a celebration of the resilience and strength of PSOT’s clients, survivors of torture and human rights abuses who have fled their home countries seeking safety in the United States. PSOT works with New York’s refugees and asylum seekers, some of its most vulnerable populations, and strives now more than ever to show these communities that the United States is safe and welcoming to survivors of violent persecution. Attendees can support survivors of torture with a suggested donation of $20, which can be made at the door or in advance at www.survivorsoftorture.org/events, and by purchasing raffle tickets at the event.
