The Cheltenham Festival is recognised worldwide as the pinnacle of the jump race calendar – it is quite simply the Olympic Games of National Hunt racing.
Each day of the festival offers spectacular jump racing, building up to the grand finale, the Gold Cup, on Friday.Across each of its four race days, the Cheltenham Festival produces a special atmosphere. The ‘Cheltenham Roar’, which refers to the huge amount of noise generated for the start of the first race of the festival, is something not to be missed.

Middleburg Spring Races Livestream

The 100th Running of the Middleburg Spring Races will livestream this Saturday, June 13. Post time is 12:30 PM EST. Nine races will be run at Glenwood Park without spectators.

Virginia Downs Racing at Great Meadow

The Fall edition of the International Gold Cup will again feature steeplechase races but like the 2015 spring edition, will also include a minimum of three flat races. The Gold Cup, which moved to its current location at Great Meadow in 1985, highlights the annual Fall steeplechase season.
